1Peel the skin off your russet potatoes . Then grate and add to a bowl of cold water. Let soak for ⏱️ 15-20 minutes . The soaking helps get some excess starch off and also keeps the potatoes from turning an ugly brown color.russet potatoes: 900 g

2After the 15-20 minutes, drain your potatoes in a colander to get out most of the water. Then add the rest of your potatoes to a cloth (a regular towel works instead of cheese cloth) and squeeze out the rest of the excess water. This is essential to getting these super crispy.

3Add back to your bowl and add your corn starch , sea salt and garlic powder . Mix together well.corn starch: 15 g, sea salt, garlic powder
-
4Preheat your waffle maker (dash mini waffle makers work great) and spray with non stick butter spray . Add 1/10th of your hashbrowns to the waffle maker and cook for about ⏱️ 3 minutes or until the waffle can stay together on its own. This is super important for when you are going to put them in the air fryer .non stick butter spray: 1 g
-
5Repeat this process for all your hashbrowns. Once you have them all done, or when you have enough to fill up your air fryer, add them to the air fryer and air fry at 400°F for ⏱️ 5-6 minutes . Flip at the 3 minute mark.

6Right out of the air fryer, salt these again while they're hot! Enjoy!
